The Mystery of His Will

Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity…” (cf. Isaiah_57:15); Who walks through eternity as we through a door.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure” (Isaiah 46:10).

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him” (Ephesians 1:9-10).

And what is “the mystery of his will” for those “saved through faith” “that love God,” “whom he did foreknow” and “predestine”? But “to be conformed to the image of his Son” (cf. (Ephesians 2:8); Romans 8:28-29).
