Hovering between this present world and the world to come, Germanwings Flight 9525, provoked worldwide introspection. "Life?" “A vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away,” much as that airbus’s contrail after impact.
Everyone on that plane had an appointment: “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
“I say unto you, that he that hears my word, and believes him that has sent me, has life eternal, and does not come into judgment, but is passed out of death into life. I say unto you, that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead [in sin] shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that have heard shall live” (John 5:24-25).
